Hi Mr. Waldbauer!

Same problems her on my site, long time ago...!
I believe its a problem with VHOST and HTTPS.

I changed to Apache and Postfix, Dovecot ...

Outside of my LAN I cannot connect w/ http://myserver.net/sys_admin.html

I can connect as a USER w/ http://myserver.net/sysuser/? by using my admin/password or my user/password

I believe because the admin pages are pointing to local:host is my problem.
"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at ....

I encountered a problem using Safari under Windows + HTTPS with Sambar. If i connect with Safari via HTTPS some images will not load and i get an SSL error

After that - i cannot connect trough HTTPS and have to restart the server.

Sorry, I havn�t any exp. with [??] MS ACCESS [??] on Linux and its ODBC driver.

Why not using PostGreSQL, mySQL or Firebird on Linux ????????

In windows with Sambar Server you could enable ODBC and create a cache to link with a Access data base, it is really easy.

I want to do exactly the same with the installation of Sambar in Linux.
It is possible? How can I configure it?

The main purpose of Sambar Server is perhaps to access the website anonymously so that your personal information is not exposed to others so what should i do? if sambar server is running as shown in the tsk bar by green icon, is it enough and I can browse the internet as before or should i need to do something else too? thanks

okay,
if I am correct: your mobile clients should reach your internal website through the proxy.
If so, why not setting up the sambar dns with an record in the host file (as far as I remember this file is used by the sambar dns but lookup the help file to be sure) and let this record point to your internal website.

Haven't test it myself yet, but I think it should work. Make a test yourself.

many clients browsers do not have an option to "by bass proxy for local addresses"

and i am working for a CDMA cell phone carrier, we are actually looking to use the sambar server for the default proxy server for mobile content

on mobile phones, they have to access the internet via a gateway profile, and generally the start up page, homepage should be on the same server

How would i enable the http proxy server to allow clients access to websites hosted locally. i am aware of internet explorer properties that says "by pass proxy for local addresses" but I need clients to use the proxy server for local websites. thank you everyone! I dont need the features like blog, fotos and so on. I copied the webmail-folder (release 5.3p) into the sysuser folder and changed some links (A-tags). That was it.

Without support from the developement its better to change to another mail-system!!!

Now my first new mailserver is up: I�m using Postfix mailserver with Courier POP3/IMAP and a lot add ons (greylisting, bounce-messaiging, Spam Assissin, ClamAV, blacklists, Squirrel Webmail, SQL-Auth, virtual ....
